Stephen M. Teague, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Teague obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, Ill., in 1977. After a medical internship at Duke University in Durham, N.C., from 1977 to 1978, he completed a residency at Duke from 1978 to 1980. He then completed a fellowship in adult cardiology also at Duke from 1980 to 1983. He was an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University, an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and an Assistant in Medicine at Duke Medical Center. From 1992 to 2000 he was in practice with Cardiology Consultants in Pensacola, Fla. Originally from Knoxville, Dr. Teague joined Parkway Cardiology in May of 2000. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology and is a member of the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
